"Farewell" — L0zR's finale video

A friend of mine that goes by the tag "L0zR" (Legend of Zelda Rules) had participated in a community of gamers that competed in the game Super Smash Bros Melee in North Carolina from 2005 to 2017. He chose to make his final tournament in July of 2017 at an event labeled Bad Moon Rising 2. 

Because he is one of my close friends, I wanted to make a tribute video remembering his time in the community. I juxtaposed footage of his clever combos, photos over the years, video of his antics, and famed chemistry with his teammate Kevin "Dr. PP" during doubles matches. I felt it was an appropriate method to sending off one of North Carolina's best Melee players.

I also made this an opportunity to teach myself video editing. I employed subtitles, green screen effects, and general editing abilities to string this together. The project took around six hours to complete.
